Paul and Carol and Matt and Kimo

My First Pub dinner

We went out with friends tonight from the fire department and the Hazmat trailer trainer dude, Matt from Huston, Texas. He came out here to train the guys on the new trailer.

I had Scampi and Chips (Fries) and Kimo had Fish and Chips. It was about a $80.00 dinner if you include the parking ticket I got for parking on the footpath (sidewalk). Paul got one too. He's a local and I parked like all the other locals and look what it got me. Brit Police allow you to stop anywhere on the road and park there as long as there isn't a no parking sign. It's super crazy, seriously you don't even know how crazy it is. So since I didn't want to take up the whole road and get hit..........................I got a 30 british pound parking ticket! Sweet! I'm sure it didn't help that I still have Idaho plates on my car so I stick out like a sore thumb. People always notice our Subaru too because I think its the only one in all of England so we always have people stopping to inspect our car.

Future Fireman!

Sean starting his training to be a future firefighter. Step 1. Set something on fire!

Blueberries and cream

This flower is called Blueberries and cream and it smells like it too.

"The Pond"

Unfortunatly my pond in the distance is filled with Algae and just as green as the garden.

Being Mr. Fireman, Kimo made sure we had enough tikis to start his own fire. It's funny how Firemen love to burn things.

Nature up close!

Beautiful wild climbing rose bush in my back yard. Yes, we are starting a new blog soon called Animal Kingdom in my backyard or The American's British Bird Sanctuary. A.K.A. "TABBS'! HeeHee:)

Opps forgot the pictures

Here's the Lush and Green Pics. It seems alot like Seattle weather here. Not extreme which is nice and the winters are not as harsh and not as long. THANK YOU JESUS! As you all know this island girl has not turned into a snow bunny, nor will I ever.

Lush and Green.

FIRE UP THE BARBIE!

Come on out! We got the new patio table today, finally. We also have a new grill for the barbie and a portable fireplace to replace our fire pit back home. I hung my flower baskets today and just thought I'd show you our Garden/ bird sanctuary.

The weather is rainy, sunny, windy, crazy... some days you get everything including hail. All the rain keeps the garden lush and green because if you know me well you know you'd be seeing more brown in the pictures.

Go Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kimo and Kerey took off for Michigan on Friday the 13th. As you all know Kimo was just as or if not more, okay way more excited to be going to Ann Arbor to watch his son learn football the Wolverine way.
They arrived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Home to the University of Michigan were they found Maze and Blue Fire Hydrants. As a Fire Fighter and a fan can you imagine how excited Kimo was, well he took a picture for you to see how cool the fire hydrant looked.

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!Finally

Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the Blog but we've been busy! Kimo also took the camera to Michigan to Kereys Football camp.
I have more Pictures of the York trip but I will have to share that at another time.
I'm new at all this so I just make (as we say in Hawaii) anykine.
We love and Miss all of you and are still waiting for our first visitors, it's okay since we are still getting settled in.
Take care and enjoy the pictures.
